Firelight, an original all-girl rock band out of eastern Connecticut, formed in January of 1999. They released their first CD, Feminon, in April of that year, and continued for the next several months writing new songs and performing them live. In December of 1999, the band welcomed new guitarist, Kym, to the lineup. The four girls have shared stages with The Gravel Pit, Luxx, Missing Joe, Mary Lou Lord, and various other local bands, at venues such as the El 'N' Gee Club in New London, CT, and the Met Cafe in Providence, RI. They released a full-length CD in June of 2000, entitled Joey's Jaw, and continue to have a blast performing whenever they have the chance.
